Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that Manchester United is one of the Premier League type teams but, he doesn’t try to boast about the turnaround. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he doesn’t need to be credited for Manchester United’s recovery because he didn’t take much interest in earlier criticism of the season.

Depending on the outcome of Manchester City ‘s appeal against their two-year ban, Solskjaer has United in the mix for qualifying for the Champions League, which can also secure a spot in Europe’s elite club competition as they are two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Since Bruno Fernandes’ arrival in January, United’s success has picked up significantly and, they are now 15 unbeaten in all competitions.

Yet Solskjaer says he’s not going to make voices listen, no matter how much it works.

He said on Friday: “If you are concerned about what people think about you, you shouldn’t be in this position. What I feel doesn’t matter. All I’m doing is trying to make the coaching staff, the club, improve ourselves. I don’t need anyone to suggest that it was the right thing or the wrong thing or believe that we proved we did the right thing. For me, it’s just the next game, and getting better all the time is important. I believe there’s a way to run the club, run teams, staff, and I just do what I think is real. I’ve done it all my career more or less, working in football, and sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t.”

United was set to continue their remarkable run against fighting Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, but Solskjaer says their schedule isn’t as simple as it seems.

He added on the atmosphere at United: “We’ve been on a ride like this for a while now. When I first came in the run, it was a good one. But now we certainly feel comfortable, we feel strong, and it should be because they worked so hard during the lockdown. They ‘re just getting back their health and sharpness, and they’re going to line up with the health. And when you perform as you did-the games in Sheffield United and Brighton were good-they should be sure.”
