The Europa League is back on track this week, but ahead of the first leg of their tie against Granada, Napoli is mired in an injury crisis.
As per Football Italia, ahead of their clash in the Andalusian town on Thursday, there are only 12 outfield players available for Gennaro Gattuso’s side.
The first team stars are not available for the match, such as David Ospina, Dries Mertens, Hirving Lozano, Kalidou Koulibaly, Faouzi Ghoulam, Kostas Manolas, Elseid Hysaj, Andrea Petagna, and Diego Demme.
The Granada side of Diego Martinez has their injuries with striker Luis Suarez, who has scored seven goals in this campaign, set to miss two months of action.
Striker Roberto Soldado has also suffered a muscular injury, although other players are currently unavailable for Montoro, Luis Milla, and German Sanchez, while Yangel Herrera and Maxime Gonalons are back from layoffs.
Granada has now played 37 games in this campaign in all competitions and injuries are now piling up.
