Parma has confirmed that, while he is asymptomatic and has not been in touch with his teammates, one of their players has tested positive for COVID-19.

Pre-season preparation has begun which means that all players and personnel are expected to undergo blanket swab and coronavirus blood tests.

A club statement stated that all of the tests were returning negative except for one match. He has no symptoms and was put in solitary confinement so he has not come into touch with the rest of the team. It was an eventful day for the Ducali who also named Fabio Liverani as their new coach.
