Inter risk of returning Ivan Perisic unless they give Bayern Munich a big discount according to a report in today’s print edition of the German news outlet Sport BILD. The Croatian national team winger joined the recently-crowned Bundesliga champions on a season-long loan last summer, and as a part of the deal, Bayern Munich secured a €20 million purchase option.
The option has expired, and the clubs agreed to hold negotiations on Perisic ‘s future at a later date, so as things stand, Bayern Munich could not sign him outright, suggesting that he will return to Inter, who thought they had seen the last one of him. Inter still wants € 20 million for Perisic, while Bayern Munich wants his half of that as his annual gross earnings are about €10-11 million.
The former Borussia Dortmund player, while on loan at the Bavaria-based club, has made 30 appearances in all competitions to date, in which he has scored six goals and scored nine assists.
