Lega Serie A and Sony Interactive Entertainment Italy announce that they have reached an important partnership agreement on the occasion of the 2020 Italian Supercup that will see Juventus, first in Serie A TIM last season, challenge Napoli, winner of the last edition of the Coppa Italia Coca-Cola, at the ‘Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore’ in Reggio Emilia on 20 January 2021.

The title sponsor of the competition will be PlayStation®5, which will also carry on the branding of the PS5 Supercup.

Thanks to this collaboration, Lega Serie A’s international development journey continues and the bond between the football world and Playstation 5, a global brand that has always been a symbol of entertainment, creativity, and inclusion, is enhanced. A collaboration journey that started with the birth of the new eSports Serie A TIM, a rivalry intensified by the PS5 Supercup for which Playstation 4 is the primary partner and exclusive console.

In the coming weeks, initiatives will be unveiled to engage the public at home through gaming, social and digital media to ensure an all-around experience for fans before during, and after the PS5 Supercup match.
