Julian Nagelsmann, manager of RB Leipzig, acknowledged that PSG was the better team on Tuesday and deserved to qualify for the Champions League final.
“The ticket is well-deserved for the PSG final,” Nagelsmann told BT Sport, via Target.
“The first 10-12 minutes we performed fantastically. PSG has so much talent and in the end, they were the better side but that’s always the way football is. We had to decide before the game whether we want to strike early. Within the first 10 minutes, we had three or four good moments, then made two or three major mistakes. When we conceded to the second goal robbed confidence from our team. In the end it was a matter of character and in the second half, we played better.”
