Raphinha, Leeds United’s attacking midfielder, has said that he is “very happy” at Elland Road as speculation about his future grows.
The 24-year-old has made an impact since joining the Whites last summer, scoring five goals and assisting five times in 21 Premier League appearances.
The Brazilian playmaker has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window, but he has expressed his satisfaction with his current club.
Raphinha told his club’s official website, “I’m very pleased and so satisfied to be a member of this club. And when I found out that Leeds was interested in me and wanted me, and the way they welcomed me, the way I was embraced, and the way I was handled when I arrived here, it meant a lot to me, and I am now very happy. Today, I’m very comfortable in both the city and the bar. I appreciate everyone’s kindness. They had a hand in it.”
