Real Madrid will be without Eden Hazard for their Champions League match against Liverpool due to an injury.

Eden Hazard has been omitted from Real Madrid’s 21-man team for Tuesday’s first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool.

Following Saturday’s victory over Eibar, Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane voiced hope about a midweek return but stated on Monday that he would not choose the winger until he could demonstrate full fitness.

Hazard has been left out of Real Madrid’s squad for their match against the Premier League champions, and the club has stated that he will not play against them at the Santiago Bernabeu.
