Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has spoken out about the club’s injury concerns.
Robertson told Sky Sports, “In a season, no team in the world can cope with having 18 different central defender combinations. There isn’t one. Van Dijk is generally talking to others all the time. We have Gomez, who is a role model for all, and Matip. Fabinho, we had Henderson.
And now we have Nathaniel Phillips, who returned from loan this season, and Kabak, a young player who has recently joined us. We also have Ben Davies, who was brought in from the Champions League and will take some time to change. There’s also Rhys Williams. All of these guys are new to the game.”
