Sheffield United was looking to start their transfer business early and the latest rumors say they will be seeking to get a young star on loan for next season.
According to The Express, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unaware of his intentions for a Rhian Brewster next season.
Klopp sees him as a potential possibility but the Blades are willing to sign him on the next loan campaign.
This loan might allow Brewster to play regular Premier League football which could persuade Liverpool to let him go to Bramall Lane for the season.
The 20-year-old made 21 loan appearances this season at Swansea City’s Championship side and scored 10 goals while managing an average of 2.4 goal shots from WhoScored.
He has shown his quality at the club and even in the past as he won the U17 World Cup with England and picked up the Golden Boot in the competition with eight goals per Transfermarkt.
For the Blades, this may be a really smart move because they already have some talented forward in their squad, like Oliver McBurnie, David McGoldrick, Billy Sharp, and Lys Mousset.
Nevertheless, with Sharp and McGoldrick 34 and 32, they may not be the ones the club can count on for the whole next season and it would be nice to have a decent young back up like Brewster.
This would be just a loan, so it works for both sides because the Blades wouldn’t have to spend a lot on getting him and he gets much-needed exposure on a top-flight in England.
