Arsenal is reportedly looking at going ways during the summer transfer window with defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Sokratis has scored six goals from his 68 games in all competitions since transferring to the Emirates Stadium in July 2018.
However, the sole outing of the 32-year-old since the resumption came in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in Arsenal’s 2-1 win away at Sheffield United.
Mikel Arteta has now told Greece international that he does not feature in its long-term plans, according to football.london.
Sokratis is reportedly keen to fight for his place at the Gunners amid the rise, a position that could complicate Arsenal’s ambitions in the transfer market.
The center-back has a year left at the North London outfit on his deal.
