Kalidou Koulibaly and Fabian Ruiz have linked away from Napoli, but President Aurelio De Laurentiis said they will listen to only the right offer. Europe’s giants threatened the Senegalese defender Koulibaly, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly hunting back down the center.

The club is open to selling star duo Kalidou Koulibaly and Fabian Ruiz this summer, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis admits.

Koulibaly, 28, has long been linked with a move away from Series A and is one of Europe’s most sought-after center-backs. Ruiz has been another outstanding performer this season for Genaro Gattuso ‘s side.

Like Koulibaly, the Spanish midfielder is contracted to stay with Napoli for another three years, but speculation over his future at the club is also intensifying ahead of the summer transfer window.

And De Laurentiis has suggested that he would be willing to let them leave if there came a big bid.

He told Corriere Dello Sport (via Goal): “If City or United or PSG showed up with €100 m, I ‘d think about it and they’d probably leave, whenever their will was to quit. I don’t consider even a €60 m (£55m/$68 m) offer. I am good, I would find myself with three, four hundred million debts if I tried to win the Scudetto today at any expense. I look around and see 500, 600 million businesses, less than a billion. I owe nobody a sh*t.'”

De Laurentiis has also stated that they have entered into negotiations on a contract extension with Spanish winger Jose Callejon.

He said: “I don’t remember well in September, or maybe it was October, we talked to each other and I’ve clarified our intentions. For one hundred, two hundred thousand euros, I must have touched up the contract. That is all it takes. He knows the terms.”
