The great Enrique Perez Diaz of Real Madrid, best known as Pachin, has died at the age of 82.
The Spanish giants announced the news of Wednesday’s passing of the former defender.
Between 1959 and 1968, Pachin made 218 appearances for Madrid and was part of one of the most prosperous times for the club.
Throughout his nine years at the Santiago Bernabeu, he won two European Cups, one Intercontinental Cup, seven LaLiga titles, and one Spanish Super Cup.
Madrid paid tribute on their official website to the eight-cap Spain International.
Real Madrid would like to express its sympathy and warmth to his wife, Mercedes, to his daughters, Cristina and Mercedes, to his grandchildren, Javier and Cristina, and all his relatives and loved ones.

During his playing days, before a long coaching career that saw him manage 12 different teams, including Madrid’s youth side, Pachin also represented Gimnastica, Burgos, Osasuna, Real Betis, and Toluca.
