A representative of Ralf Rangnick has confirmed the closing of the talks with Milan. ‘It has been decided together that Ralf Rangnick will not take on a position at AC Milan.’
The news emerged in Germany this evening, first with Kicker and then with Bild, that the discussions that have been going on since November have reached a frustrating conclusion. Now Rangnick consultant Marc Kosicke has issued a statement saying the deal is off.
“Ac Milan and Ralf Rangnick have decided that this is now not the best time and that there is no opportunity to work together. Therefore, taking into account the strong growth and the results under coach Stefano Pioli, it was mutually agreed that Ralf Rangnick would not take on a job at AC Milan.”
