Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick spoke about his team’s 3-1 victory over Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
“This is a well-deserved success. With a higher ranking, we might have won. We did what we planned: we were well placed on the field and applied pressure to our opponents,” Flick said on the club’s official website.
“I am overjoyed that we were able to score after a corner. It was co-written by Toni Tapalovic and Miro Klose. Thank you again, and thank you for your hard work.”
“Of course, one goal conceded enraged me. However, our four defenders, as well as the entire squad, played excellent defense. We were on the verge of preventing the enemy from doing something. I’m very pleased with the results, and I congratulate the team.”
