According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Argentine club Boca Juniors is interested in signing Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero on a free transfer this summer.
Sergio Romero’s contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of the season. The Argentine goalkeeper may reunite with Marcos Rojo, a former Manchester United defender who joined Boca Juniors on a free transfer earlier this season.
The 34-year-old arrived at Old Trafford in the summer of 2015 as David de Gea’s backup. Despite making 61 appearances for Manchester United, the Argentine is not expected to sign a new contract, with Dean Henderson currently vying for the No. 1 spot.
