Bram Nuytinck, the Udinese defender, admits that he did not have a close partnership with former coach Igor Tudor, but we want Luca Gotti to play football.’
The center-back did not pull punches when explaining to Tudor, who was sacked a year ago and is now the assistant manager of Andrea Pirlo at Juventus.
Nuytinck told ItaSportPress, ‘Gotti is very different from Tudor because he wants us to play football and is also a very motivating influence in the locker room.’ Tudor also had several attributes. I did not have a good relationship with him but in football, that can happen. I’m very pleased now that we’ve worked hard to meet this club’s expectations.’
Unfortunately, we want a mid-table finish every year, but we still end up struggling to prevent relegation. Finally, we have a good team and a good coach this season from the outset, so we want to hit the finish we deserve.
