Midfielder Arturo Vidal in Barcelona says that, following their scrappy 1-0 victory over Real Valladolid on Saturday, his side remains in the chase for the La Liga crown.

La Blaugrana has already dropped points three times since the return of football and needed an early goal from Vidal to ensure that they didn’t make it four against Valladolid.

We are now sitting one point behind Real Madrid leaders who will be given the chance to extend their lead to four points on Monday night when we head to Granada. Speaking after the Valladolid game (via Goal), Vidal warned Real that Barça would not give up on their quest for the trophy.

Vidal said: “We know that depends on it. What we have to do is win all the games we have left. It’s not about us. We just have to do what we’ve got to do to see what the other people around us are doing.”

Just two games left to play in Barcelona-home to Osasuna on Thursday and away to Alavés on Sunday-and they realize they can’t practically afford to lose more points if they want to win Real’s first league title since 2016/17.
