West Ham United would not consider selling Declan Rice this summer until, according to presenter Jim White, they obtain a bid of over £ 100m.
During the 2020-21 campaign, the 22-year-old was in impressive form for the Hammers, although for this summer’s European Championships he is widely predicted to be part of the England squad.
Both Manchester United and Liverpool were closely linked to the midfielder, who has a deal until the summer of 2024 at the London Stadium, with the option of an additional 12 months.
White stated, however, that the owners of the club value Rice, who has also previously been affiliated with Chelsea, above £ 100 m.
“[David] Sullivan told me already, it’s gotta be £100m north or they’re not going to entertain it. We’re going to wait to see what is going on with that, “White on talkSPORT said.
For the Hammers, this word, Rice scored once and got one assist in 28 appearances.
