Inter is reportedly negotiating a deal for the right-back, Kyle Walker, from Manchester City and England.
Walker has been at City since 2017, winning Premier League titles back-to-back, but broke the law of coronavirus four times during the lockout.
Inter is ‘ready to pounce’ for the 30-year-old, who’s ‘could be tempted’ by the prospect of a fresh start in Italy, according to The Sun.
The newspaper warns, however, that he still retains his coach Pep Guardiola’s faith, and that he only extended his contract last summer.
Walker has played 31 times for City this season, even playing in goal with Atalanta in the Champions League for the final few minutes of their 1-1 draw.
On the opposite, the Nerazzurri could have a stronger chance to get back Joao Cancelo, who has struggled to dislodge his rival since joining a year ago from Juventus.
The Portuguese will be available this summer for £60 m (€66.3 m) according to The Sun.
In recent months, Inter has signed several players from Premier League clubs including Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young, and Christian Eriksen.
