After an exciting second half, FC Barcelona defeated Real Betis 3:2 away in the 22nd round of LaLiga.
For such a long time, the first half unfolded. We had to wait until the 38th minute for the first strike when Borja Iglesias opened the scoring. The response from Barcelona came just half an hour later.
Leo Messi used Dembele’s pass and led him to the equalizer.
Barca was then assisted by Victor Ruiz’s suicide shot, who uncomfortably headed the ball toward his target. The hosts scored another goal just as it appeared the visitors had taken the initiative on the pitch. It was thanks to Fekir Nabil.
The Frenchman played perfectly over the top into the penalty area where, with his head, the aforementioned Ruiz redeemed his guilt.
The last word belonged, however, to Blaugrana. Trincao closed the scoring in the 87th minute, the player lurking for a tap-in and his touch with the ball resulted in the Pride of Catalonia’s winning goal.
Barcelona reinforced its second place in the LaLiga table with this success, expanding the sequence of league wins.
