Roma beat Spezia 4-3 (1-1) in a dramatic final

In the first game of the 19th round of the Italian Seria A schedule on Saturday, Roma beat Spezia 4-3 (1-1) in a dramatic final.

Roma took the lead in the first half with a Mayoral goal (17), but soon after Piccoli (24) equalized to 1-1. Mayoral (52) secured a new lead for the home team at the beginning of the second half, which was soon improved by Karsdorp (55).

The rookie in the league, however, did not give up, but through Diego Faris (59), reduced it to 3-2, and that result was true until the very end.

And then Verde (90) took advantage of Smalling’s big error to equalize at 3-3 and it seemed like an important moment, but she managed to score the fourth goal and gain three points thanks to Pellegrini (90 + 2) quite soon after moving from the center of Roma.

This was Roma and Spezia’s second match this week after Spezia also beat Roma 4-2 in Rome in Tuesday’s round of 16 after extra time.

With this win, Roma came in third with 37 points, three fewer with a match more than the second Inter, and three more with two games more than the fourth Napoli, although Spezia stayed 13th with 18 points.

With 43 points, Milan is at the top.
