Indeed, Paris Saint-Germain is pressing for the midfielder at Juventus now more than anyone else. After Metz and Lyon, it would be a return to Ligue 1 for the Bosnian player, which can be done through not with a dry move, but with an exchange. In this sense, Juve doesn’t mind Paredes, but the arguments for Argentina are not currently at an advanced stage.
Miralem Pjanic may well be on his way to Chelsea this season, despite having already reached terms with Barcelona. Bosnia and Herzegovina International, with several clubs interested in its infrastructure, look likely to abandon Juventus this season.
Barcelona was closely linked to the 30-year-old and reports suggest he signed an agreement with the Spanish outfit.
According to Sky Sports Italia, however, the deal does not come true, with Maurizio Sarri making up the idea of using the midfielder as a makeweight in a deal to grab Jorginho from Chelsea.
The other name circulating is that of Barcelona’s Arthur. However, what the Brazilian would fall into would be a maxi operation: Juventus would also bring back De Sciglio, in addition to Pjanic, but it is the midfielder who keeps his distance.
The indiscretions about the player’s coldness are also confirmed by Arthur’s own words, who confided his thoughts on Twitter: “Which style is the best? The one with the Barcelona shirt has no equal,” he said today in response to a club tweet.
Returning to Pjanic, there remains the English track which leads to London. Chelsea could enter the Jorginho operation. But even in this scenario, today’s talks are already lagging relative to what has already started with the PSG. However, all the theories remain, with one certainty: Juventus established Miralem as the pawn for the exchange to open the next market for transfers.
Pjanic made 167 appearances for the Old Lady and won six major titles during his time in Turin, but he seems likely to leave it behind with many clubs seeking to earn his reputation.
