Once they reach Hellas Verona on Thursday, Antonio Conte called on his Inter players to deliberately channel their “bitterness and deceit.”
The Nerazzurri suffered their first loss in Serie A since the resumption of the season on Sunday, when they conceded two late goals to be defeated by Bologna 2-1.
Inter will reduce the difference to eight with seven points to play and Conte needs a response.
He told Inter TV: “We are putting the defeat against Bologna behind us and getting ready for the match against Verona. In moments like this, the fact that our next game is too soon is a positive one, because we can still feel a bit of frustration and disappointment, but at the same time you need to concentrate on the next game, which in this case is a big fixture against a really strong side in Hellas Verona.”
