Arsenal is back in the running to sign Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu after the Dutch club decided to drop their asking price. The Gunners were linked with the Turkey international last summer, but his £23m price is thought to have turned them off.
According to Spanish outlet La Razon, the 20-year-old could now be available for as little as £10 million, as Feyenoord needs to alleviate its financial woes.
As a result, Kokcu is reported to be on Arsenal’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window, although fellow Premier League clubs Leicester City and Leeds United, as well as La Liga club Sevilla, are also said to be involved.
Kokcu, a former Dutch youth international, has two goals and an assist in 22 Eredivisie and Europa League games this season.
