Fenerbahce has yet to formally complete the signing of Mesut Ozil, but Mikel Arteta is not concerned about the hold-up.
Mesut Ozil’s move to Fenerbahce is being delayed due to the “quarantine situation” in Turkey, but Arsenal director Mikel Arteta does not think that there is anything to worry about.
Arteta told reporters on Thursday, according to the official club website, to address the delay in announcing the departure of Ozil: “The quarantine situation is making the final step the longest ever. They have a lot of restrictions there [in Turkey]. Everything seems to be going OK, but I cannot say definitely what is going to happen. As soon as I can, we will mention.”
