According to the Daily Mail, the Borussia Dortmund star has one year left on his deal, and his former partnership with Thomas Tuchel could entice him to join Chelsea.
Tuchel was still in charge when the German international joined Dortmund. The transfer was done, though, after our new head coach had departed the club.
According to the article, Chelsea will face competition from Manchester City, who is also interested in the Syrian-born midfielder.
This season, the 25-year-old has played a key role in Dortmund’s midfield. Dahoud has two goals, one of which was essential in the last 16 of the Champions League versus Sevilla.
Dahoud has also recently played for Germany’s national team, earning two caps against Turkey and the Czech Republic.
