Bruno Fernandes advised Jürgen Klopp to continue moaning if he wanted to win the number of penalties for Manchester United because the midfielder could not care less about the Liverpool manager’s opinion.
Klopp’s comments followed similar ones from José Mourinho of Tottenham and Frank Lampard of Chelsea. As the penalty taker for United, Fernandes scored 14 out of 15.
According to The Guardian, he said, “People can talk and say what they want. But, for me and the boys, the key point is to keep on doing the right things and score when we get a penalty. Honestly, I don’t listen, I don’t care. You always see what people are doing, but I don’t care. I’m not focused on what’s being said.”
