Philippe Coutinho, the Barcelona midfielder, has undergone another surgery on his leg, which he injured at the end of December last year.
According to Esport3, the footballer traveled to Qatar for a surgical check-up after having a second meniscus operation about a month earlier.
In January, the first operation was performed. Following that, the Brazilian started to experience pain, but his knee is now healing more quickly.
Coutinho was supposed to return to the field in early April. The timeline has been put back, and the club is now optimistic that the midfielder will appear for Barcelona within a month.
This season, the player has made 14 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring three goals and assisting on two others.
