Portugal and Spain shared a goalless draw on a friendly Wednesday, as Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe reunited with old friend Sergio Ramos after the match.
Ronaldo and Renato Sanches both hit the crossbar for Portugal, while Dani Olmo was close to the winner for Spain in a lively clash in Lisbon in the middle of the week.
Rivalries were thrown aside after the final whistle when Real Madrid captain Ramos visited his former club-mates in the locker room.
In the past seasons, Ramos, Ronaldo, and Pepe each played a crucial role for Los Blancos, and the three came together for a photo that was shared by the Madrid Center-back to his Twitter account.
“We’re all around … and there’s more to come! Glad to see you, my friends are reunited,” Ramos wrote.
Ronaldo is the Italian Juventus champion in Serie A, while Pepe is the Primeira Liga champion in Porto.
