Recently the Inter Miami with David Beckham made contact with Luis Suarez over a summer transfer to Barcelona from South America. New Barca boss Ronald Koeman recently told the former Liverpool man that he is overstepping Camp Nou requirements and is free to leave this summer.

Suarez’s former Ajax club is reportedly aiming to get the Uruguay international back to the Eredivisie, while Ligue 1 champions from Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be in the hunt.

Currently, The Independent notes that Inter Miami and Suarez have spoken about a potential move to the MLS, but if a contract were to come to fruition, the player would be forced to make a drastic pay cut. The article states that former PSG man Edinson Cavani is also on the wishlist for Beckham, while Inter Miami will face tough competition from Real Madrid for the signing of Suarez’s fellow countryman.

Suarez has a contract with Barcelona until 2021, but the 33-year-old is expected to see his deal ended as Koeman is planning a significant overhaul ahead of the new campaign.
