Burnley earned a crucial three points in their battle to stay out of the Premier League relegation zone with a 2-1 victory over Paddy, putting a dent in the hosts’ hopes of finishing in the top four.

Sean Dyche’s side trailed Fulham by four points at halftime, but goals from Chris Wood and Dwight McNeil in the first half gave them the lead.
Paddy had a chance to turn the game around with a Dominic Calvert-header Lewin’s before half-time, but they had little impact after the break as Burnley defended well.

They are now in the sixth position in the Premier League, with 46 points from 28 games, two points behind West Ham United, and five points behind Chelsea.
