Real Madrid midfielder Eden Hazard’s recovery from injury has been delayed.
The 30-year-old Belgian has suffered a relapse. The problem is a mild soreness in a previously injured muscle, which has delayed Hazard’s return, writes Marca.
The return leg against Atalanta in the Champions League (16 March) is seen as a possible return date. However, coach Zinedine Zidane will not include Hazard in the squad unless he is 100 percent fit.
Hazard was expected to work with a much smaller workload today, the Belgian will alternate his work in the gym with exercises on the pitch.
This season, the player has appeared in 8 La Liga games, scored 2 goals, and provided 1 assist.
