Karim Benzema, a striker for Real Madrid, has opened up about his time playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, who now plays for Juventus.
“I’d be ecstatic to be paired with Cristiano. I’ll just say that his departure allowed me to play a slightly different position on the field. I had to adjust because he was scoring 50-60 goals a year. Ronaldo is one of the world’s greatest players,” the Frenchman told El Pais.
Real Madrid signed Benzema and Ronaldo in 2009. In the summer of 2018, the Portuguese transferred to Juventus.
