Teenager Billy Gilmour is Frank Lampard’s option to replace N’Golo Kante at Selhurst Park, with Jorginho at the bench.
Billy Gilmour has been preferred to the out-of-favor Jorginho in Chelsea’s starting line-up for the Premier League derby at Crystal Palace Tuesday.
Jorginho hasn’t played for the Blues after the season resumed last month, and has been linked to a return to Italy.
On the eve of the clash at Selhurst Park, Frank Lampard praised the midfielder ‘s professionalism, where it was thought that the former Napoli man could replace the injured N’Golo Kante.
And it’s teenager Gilmour who got the nod to appear in the only change following Watford’s 3-0 defeat to the Eagles on Saturday.
