Both Inter Miami and DC United in Major League Soccer are interested in former England striker Daniel Sturridge.
The 31-year-old has been a free agent for just over a year since being signed by Turkish club Trabzonspor and is now looking to resurrect his career.
Sturridge is currently being pursued by David Beckham’s Inter Miami – who recently signed Englishman Kieran Gibbs – and DC United, who were able to sign Wayne Rooney for a limited time between June 2018 and October 2019.
According to the Daily Mirror, Sturridge has won 26 caps for England and is known as a tremendously talented forward with natural goal-scoring ability.
If he enters the MLS before the 2021 season starts in April, the recent Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City forward will be a massive coup for the club.
Sturridge made 16 appearances in all competitions for Trabzonspor, scoring seven goals.
