Inter Milan is reportedly growing optimistic in completing a deal for Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez during this summer’s transfer window.
Chile International spent the 2019-20 loan campaign in San Siro, scoring four times and making 10 assists in all competitions in 28 games, with the 31-year-old being especially impressive after the lockdown.
Inter has recently announced that they intend to sign the attacker permanently, but Sanchez’s salaries-thought to reach £500,000 a week are likely to be troublesome.
The former Arsenal forward only has two years left to run on its deal at Old Trafford and as it stands he will return to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘s side in August.
Nonetheless, according to the Manchester Evening News, Antonio Conte’s side is adamant that it will reach a definitive trade agreement ‘on an advanced stage already.’
In 45 appearances for United, Sanchez has scored only five times in all competitions.
