With a 4-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Jarrod Bowen scored twice as West Ham United picked up their first Premier League season win.
The Hammers, who had lost their previous four games against Wolves without scoring, went up 1-0 in 17 minutes. Bowen, who expertly curled a low shot beyond Rui Patricio, picked out a fast free-kick from Pablo Fornals.
In a 45-minute opening dominated by the home side, Fornals blasted over from near range.
In the 57th minute, West Ham doubled their tally when, after Fornals’ long-range attempt hit the post, Bowen tapped in a loose pass.
The Hammers added a third when Raul Jimenez deflected Tomas Soucek’s header from Aaron Cresswell’s corner for an own goal.
In stoppage time, Sebastien Haller headed in a fourth, meaning West Ham and Wolves now each has one win from their opening three matches.
