It’s no longer a mystery; Jose Mourinho and Tottenham Hotspur are up for the jig.

It looks like Jose Mourinho has eventually agreed to get rid of the €60 million paying midfielder Tanguy Ndombele who came from Lyon last summer. While he was the first to produce good results, the most costly spurs in the Spurs’ history, along with the rest of the squad, sunk and The Special One’s arrival as the coach made his situation even more complicated.

The 23-year-old midfielder pulled out of a half-time game with Burnley in mid-March just before the coronavirus pandemic broke out, and since then their partnership has since broken altogether.

While the Portuguese attempted to resolve it, breaking the ban on traveling at the height of the pandemic, they were unable to find a common language, and Mourinho broke ground and told Ndombele that he should find a new team, reports Football Insider.

The same source reports that the Spurs administration is searching for an agent who will consider him a new recruit, and Argentine defender Juan Foyth awaits the same fate.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho said the record signing of the club, Tanguy Ndombele, called for a 2-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Boxing Day to be left out of the side.

In his post-match press conference Mourinho spoke to the media and confirmed that Ndombele was not missing because of injury:
“He told me he didn’t feel like playing. I can’t say he’s hurt. We’re beginning a training session [on the pitch after the game] in five minutes so you can go to the stands to watch it. He’s going to practice normally and I can’t say he’s hurt.
