Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich is in isolation at home ahead of the new Bundesliga season after he had contact with a coronavirus infected human, the Champions League-winning club said Tuesday.
Bayern did not state how long the French winger would have to spend in quarantine, or whether he would be available to play Schalke in the new season’s first league game of the German champion on Friday.
Bayern said on Sunday, Coman screened the coronavirus as negative.
‘Remote virtual training sessions will keep Coman fit at home,’ the club said.
Coman scored the game’s only goal in last month’s Champions League final, as Bayern defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0.
