Since making a move to Bayern Munich for €60 million, Leroy Sane put an end to a long-running transfer story but, it took the time to thank Manchester City and Pep Guardiola for what they did for him.
Sane wrote on social media in a farewell letter to the Blues: “Thank you very much for the great experience and all the support over the past four years. It was a powerful, and fruitful time that I definitely wouldn’t forget. We played some tournaments, scored a bunch of goals, set some records, and held together with seven trophies.”
He continued saying: “Thanks to all the supporters, the staff and my team-mates! I will remember this moment forever with incredible happiness and joy. Thanks also to my coach, who made me a better player and who has a significant share of my 2018 PFA Young of the Year award. I have learned a lot and I am very happy to be part of that journey.”
