Barcelona forward Luis Suarez ended third on the club’s all-time goalscorer list after scoring the winner in their 1-0 victory over Espanyol.
The Uruguayan scored his 195th La Blaugrana goal against Francisco Rufete ‘s side and finally overtook Barcelona’s hero Laszlo Kubala.
Suarez joined the Catalan Barcelona giants in 2014 and the 33-year-old was a prolific goal-scoring threat in his time at Camp Nou. He has scored more than 20 goals in each of La Liga’s last four seasons, with his latest strike in 2019-20 putting him up to 14 goals in league action.
The prolific striker had looked likely to miss the rest of the season after having knee surgery back in January, but the extension of the competition, owing to coronavirus, has allowed him to return to action.
