West Ham will fly to Old Trafford on Tuesday, but they will not have to worry about Paul Pogba, who is set for a spell on the sidelines.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer announced that ahead of a crucial month, Paul Pogba would miss “a few weeks” for Manchester United in terms of coverage.
Since then, the scope of the issue that could shake Pogba out of a series of big matches has been disclosed by Solskjaer.
Solskjaer told MUTV, “It’s an injury that will take a few weeks to heal. He’s just begun his rehab, working with the medical team, and we’re going to get him back as soon as we can, and safely.
Paul was really important to us, of course, and we’re not going to take any chances. [It’s going to be] a couple of weeks, certainly.
You never want to get hurt and, in particular, Paul was finding his form right now and loving his football. For us when we lose players, we have to score as many points and win as possible.
We’ve been very healthy and strong for a long period so we can’t moan too much.”
