Noel Le Graet, president of the French Football Federation (FFF), has praised Real Madrid ‘s fruitful season with Karim Benzema.
French Football Federation (FFF) president Noel Le Graet has praised Real Madrid player Karim Benzema for his “exceptional season.”
Benzema has scored 26 goals in 47 games this season to help Madrid retain LaLiga, even though they are in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Benzema last played for France in 2015, despite his age, and Le Graet said that in November of last year, the forward had played his last game for the national team.
And the FFF chairman has always been full of praise for the 32-year-old ‘s efforts this season.
“He was having an exceptional season with Real,” Le Graet said Thursday to RMC Sport.
“I’ve already thanked [Zinedine] Zidane who is his mentor. Now, he’s one of the best players in the season he’s just done. The best? It’s not up to me to judge because I haven’t seen all the games but he’s had the best season of his career in my opinion.”
