Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly available during this summer’s transfer window to sell the attacker Jesse Lingard.
The 27-year-old has found it tough to make his mark for the Red Devils during the 2019-20 season, contributing just two goals and two assists in 37 appearances in all contests.
Lingard has played this season on 21 occasions in the Premier League but has failed to achieve a goal or assist, although he has only seen 28 minutes of league action since early February.
England international’s new deal at Old Trafford is set to expire next summer and, according to the Manchester Evening News, Solskjaer is free to unload it ahead of next season.
West Ham United has recently been credited with an interest in the United Academy product which has played more than 200 times for its new club in all competitions.
Lingard was an unused substitute at Old Trafford on Wednesday, in a 1-1 draw with West Ham.
