Paul Pogba admits that at Manchester United he is “all about winning” and will again be “angry” when the Red Devils start to come unstuck.

For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side of late, losses have been few and far between.

In their last 13 Premier League outings, United are unbeaten, with a run that has included outings against Everton, Manchester City, and Liverpool, stretching back to a 1-0 reversal at Arsenal’s home on November 1st.

The Red Devils have only stumbled three times in their last 19 fixtures in all competitions, with those setbacks dropping them out of the Champions League and Carabao Cup.

In the English top-flight, a welcome return to form lifted a rejuvenated outfit to the top of the table, with that standing cemented with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Fulham.

In that contest, Solskjaer’s side trailed again, as has become the norm on their travels this season, but Edinson Cavani’s predatory instincts and a stunning strike from Pogba got them over the line.

“Winning is all about it. When I win, I will always be happy, and when I’m on the pitch, I will always be happy. We won today, so I’m happy. I’ll be angry again on the day we lose. This is me here.

With 40 points from 19 games, United have reached the halfway point of their season.

They are just two points clear of Manchester City’s arch-rivals, who boast of a game in hand, while the top seven are separated by only eight points.

In an intriguing title tussle, Pogba expects a thrilling fight to finish, with the French international adding: “It’s the Premier League, so it’s always hard.”
