After beating Cádiz 4-1 in a match they dominated from start to finish, Real won a much-needed win at the Reale Arena. The braces which sealed the Txuri Urdin victory were converted by Oyarzabal and Isak.
Intending to get back to winning ways, La Real came out and did so by dominating the game. To break into the opposition box, Isak pressed high and La Real got the ball back comfortably. Then, Real was granted a penalty by a VAR check and Oyarzabal broke the deadlock from the penalty spot. Oyarzabal converted his brace to make it 2-0, just minutes after scoring his penalty. Just before the break, when Mauro was sent off, Cádiz was reduced to ten men.
La Real started playing beautifully in the second half and again dominated the ball. Within 15 minutes, Isak received his brace. After converting from Januzaj’s throw, he scored his first goal. He went back on the scoresheet soon after to get his brace. Later, Jairo got Cádiz back with one goal. There were more target scoring possibilities for the txuri urdin, but neither Merquelanz nor Carlos Fernández was able to achieve them.
