Real Madrid is reportedly keeping track of 23-year-old Brazilian winger Pepe, who carves out the name of Gremio for himself. Reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid are interested in Gremio’s Brazilian attacker Pepe and may make a move for him shortly, according to a source from the Spanish publication Defensa Central.

Pepe, 23, has been with Gremio since 2016 and has developed over the years into a key player for the Brazilian outfit. He has accumulated 103 appearances for the club so far, creating a realistic return of 24 goals and 13 assists in the process.

As he bagged 12 goals and 8 assists from 40 appearances in all competitions, Pepe enjoyed a very fruitful 2020 campaign. He is known for his dribbling and his finishing skills, capable of playing on either flank.

Since making his debut last January, the winger has represented the Brazil U-23 team six times but has yet to make it to the senior set-up.
The success of Pepe over the past year has been closely monitored by Real Madrid, which has now considered a move for the winger, having received glowing reviews on the winger.

Chief scout Juni Calafat is rumored to be the guiding force behind the curiosity in the 23-year-old Los Blancos.
