Chelsea and Arsenal have been informed that signing Achraf Hakimi this summer is unlikely after his agent said he was settled at Inter Milan.
According to reports in Italy, Inter’s owners, Suning Holding Group, could reduce their participation in the club. This could result in the sale of a variety of celebrities to raise funds. As a result, Marcelo Brozovic and Christian Eriksen have been heavily linked with transfers.
Hakimi is yet another celebrity who has been tied to a transfer. This summer, the Moroccan full-back could be able to leave for £40 million.
This has fueled rumors that Arsenal, who is looking for a substitute for Hector Bellerin, is looking into a possible contract.
They are not, though, the only ones that have shown an interest. He is also said to be on Thomas Tuchel’s radar as he plans a championship challenge at Stamford Bridge next season.
However, it seems that Hakimi does not incline to abandon Milan for London. His agent told Radio Kiss Kiss that his client is enjoying life under Antonio Conte.
“Hakimi is pleased with Inter with Conte, who is an outstanding coach,” said his agent, Alejandro Camano.
“Conte’s style of play suits Achraf, and I believe he will benefit greatly from this experience with the Nerazzurri.”
Back in 2017, Hakimi was on the verge of joining Napoli under Maurizio Sarri. And his agent believes that a transfer to Inter’s rivals may still be a possibility in the future.
