Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the head coach of Manchester United, has summed up the first leg of the Europa League 1/8 final against AC Milan (1-1).
According to Manchester Evening News, Solskjaer said, “I’m very sad to have conceded after one of the game’s final strikes. Of course, it complicates things, but everything will be determined in the second game. We were losing our semblance of order. We were blocked and the opponent scored with a header because the team sat too far. We should have launched an assault with the men we had on hand. In possession of the ball, we were too late. These are the lessons that we must remember. We’re up against some tough competition. A tie is most likely a fair result.”
